More About Me

A Realtor since 2011, for me real estate is more than a job, it is my destiny and passion.

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara (my maiden name is Emily Ordas). My mom was a fantastic Realtor and so was my Grandfather. I am also a 5th generation SB local and am such a fan of this place and proud to sell in the community that raised me.

Growing up in a place of such beauty and abundance was really a dream. All summer on the beach at junior life guards. Amazing schools, theater, music, dance, art, time with grandparents and family and friends. Everything in Santa Barbara was so perfect for me. And it still is.

I went to Starr King Parent Child Workshop for Preschool (my favorite school I've ever been to), then Monte Vista Elementary, La Colina Junior High, and on to San Marcos High School. When I was 18 I moved to Davis where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Studies with a minor in Religious Studies. I became a Realtor a few short years after graduation. I made the decision early in my career to work by referral and have been successful thus far with 100% of my business being referral based.

I strongly believe in quality not quantity and offer a superior level of client care. I am an advocate, consultant, and expert negotiator. When you hire me you are also hiring a project manager, someone who you can rely on, period. I have your back, I am on it, you can relax. My clients consistently remember me as someone who not only helped them make an amazing decision, but supported them through the process seamlessly, and also made them laugh. I am someone you can trust, feel confident in, and relate to.

I work with all kinds of buyers and sellers, ranging from savvy investors to first timers, and I love it all. My ability to swiftly crunch numbers, pencil things out, and speak with ease to the finance brained person one minute, and hop to the emotional and whimsical person the very next, gives me a unique skill set that allows me to assist a wide breadth of clientele with varying needs. I proudly hold the highest level of real estate licensure in both California and Oregon. I have owned my own real estate brokerage, and property management company in Oregon. My husband and I own several rentals in Oregon still and enjoy being landlords through it.

I love to always be learning new things growing. I am always reading a new book, and listening to a new podcast. I also enjoy knitting (when I'm feeling patient), long walks on the beach, and relaxing when I can. Real estate makes me a better person, and demands that I only give the best. I love this about my work. I truly believe that that gratitude is the foundation for my success. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and I hope to work with you soon! Please take the time to read my reviews on Zillow, I am so appreciative to all my past clients who have taken the time to say such kind words!
